Chapman Honda recognizes that our troops work hard for this country everyday and for that they should be rewarded, regardless of what branch of the Military that they serve in. As a thank you and sign of appreciation for all that our armed forces do, Honda has presented a new offer.

Chapman Honda is now offering all active-duty, reserve personnel and the wives of the U.S Military an appreciation offer. Eligible personnel will receive $500 toward any new Chapman Honda vehicle when using a valid Honda APR, Honda Leadership Lease or Honda Leadership Purchase Plan with HFS. The offer applies to all branches of the Military including: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Coast Guard as well as Ready Reserve, Inactive National Guard, Individual Ready Reserve and Selected Reserve. In order to prove eligibility all that is required is a valid military Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) and proof of meeting HFS credit criteria.

The program began June 23, 2012 and will run until March 31, 2013. The deal can be applied to all Chapman Honda models and years that are eligible for new vehicle financing through Honda Financial Services. The only guidelines to receive the $500 appreciation discount are that the customer must finance through Honda Financial Services for a minimum of 24 months or more of regularly scheduled payments. One Pay leases are qualified but Zero Due at Signing leases are not.

Whether you are looking for a SUV or a minivan, Honda has what any family is looking for. The Honda Odyssey has features like an expandable second row that fits three child-safety seats, a built-in trash bag holder, and enough cup holders for 15 cans, bottles, and juice boxes. The Honda Pilot is a sturdy, reliable SUV with ample space, convenient features and the ability to handle whatever weather Mother Nature might have in store.

The Honda Odyssey not only drives well but it is roomy and can accompany even the largest of families. One feature that really stands out to buyers is the expandable second row of seats. This allows three large child-safety seats to fit across the row. The third row is also easier than ever to get to. There is a single lever to slide the second-row side seats forwards and even an adult has extra leg space once back there.

The Odyssey is an IIHS Top Safety Pick and features a standard slate of airbags. There is also seat-mounted side airbags for front passengers and side curtain airbags for all three rows and there are Latch anchors for five child-safety seats.

The new Honda Pilot is just as family friendly as its cousin the Odyssey, seating eight. It can easily handle four adults and four children. If needed to haul cargo the Pilot has enough space to carry a 4×8 foot sheet of building material flat inside. Also notable is a slight improvement in fuel economy for the 2012 Honda Pilot. Aerodynamic and powertrain adjustments to the 2012 Pilot eek out an extra 1 mile per gallon in the city and 2 mpg in both freeway and combined driving.

On the inside the Honda Pilot upgraded its textures and materials. It still contains 45 buttons, including those for climate control, audio, 4WD and navigation. The large, iDrive-like button for the navigation and entertainment system is placed near the bottom, which takes some getting used to. Still, it’s more user-friendly than the last version.

According to an online review, the Honda Pilot offers 18 cubic-feet of space, enough for about six standard-sized bags of groceries side-by-side. With the second- and third-row seats stowed, storage space maxes out at a respectable 87 cubic feet. Large and bulky items fit with relative ease thanks to the Pilot’s boxy shape. The cargo area has as assortment of tie-down points and bag hooks, and the cargo floor, equipped with a net, can be flipped up and latched against the third-row seatback to create a basket/shelf capable of holding 22 pounds. There is also more storage below the cargo floor.

So whether you have a large or small family the Pilot and the Odyssey can fulfill your summer road trip needs. Head to your local Tucson Honda for more information on the Pilot, Odyssey or any other Honda!
