2013-Honda-CR-V-Interior

Last year, the Honda CR-V was the best-selling crossover SUV in the United States. Edmunds dubbed it a “well-rounded standout” in its competitive segment. Beyond returning with all of the family-friendly features that made last year’s entry popular, the 2013 Honda CR-V introduces a series of updates to raise the stakes.

For the uninitiated, the Honda CR-V is equipped with a 2.4-liter engine rated at 23/31/26 city/highway/combined miles per gallon fuel efficiency (22/30/25 with the AWD drivetrain).* Standard front-wheel drive (slip-detecting all-wheel drive is optional) is paired exclusively with a five-speed automatic transmission.

Four-wheel antilock disc brakes (standard on all models) bring the CR-V to a stop from 60 miles per hour in 120 feet according to Edmunds. The CR-V’s standard safety features also include side and side curtain airbags, active head restraints, stability/traction control, and a back-up camera. These features allowed the 2013 CR-V to receive five-star government safety ratings.

The CR-V’s interior now includes an automatically folding rear seat for easy access to its impressive cargo space. Pandora and Bluetooth capabilities are standard-equipped with optional satellite navigation and SMS text messaging interfaces available.

The Honda CR-V is a perennial best-seller for a reason. With class-leading fuel efficiency, IIHS Top Safety ratings, and ample cargo/passenger space with the latest amenities, Honda’s crossover SUV performs in every way that matters. When coupled with the reliability of the Honda brand – one of the best-known and well-liked manufacturers of imports for decades – the 2013 CR-V might be the best choice for your family’s needs.
