Repeats Win From 10 Years Ago

The revamped Honda Civic was the clear choice among 53 journalists for 2016 North American Car of the Year, an award it also won in 2006. With a longer and wider body, the Civic now has more interior space than ever before while providing a much more comfortable ride. Check out the entire Honda Civic inventory at Chapman Honda and take a test drive to see just why this vehicle is one of the top selling cars in America year after year.

Civic Sedan Comes in Five Trim Levels

Need a basic car that will run for years, gets 40 miles per gallon and still comes with features like Bluetooth connectivity, LED daytime running lights and a rearview camera? The LX fits the bill starting at $18,640. Move up to the EX and you get a moonroof, heated mirrors, Honda Lane watch and remote engine start. The EXT model begins at just over $22,200 and has a turbocharged engine, fog lights, heated front seats and Sirius XM satellite radio. The “L” in EX-L stands for leather and this model has gobs of it from the leather trimmed seats and wrapped steering wheel to the shift knob. The driver’s seat adjusts eight different ways and the rearview mirror automatically dims when headlights behind are too bright. The Touring model is the top of the line with everything the other levels offer along with a premium audio system, LED headlights, heated rear seats and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

New Technology Drives Civic Innovation

The 2016 Civic features the Honda Sensing system of safety features that help a driver avoid a collision or mitigate damage and injury should a wreck occur. Collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation and adaptive cruise control all utilize sensors and cameras to help keep the driver and passengers safe. Additionally, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both available to work with your smartphone with a limited number of apps and hands-free connectivity. “This tenth-generation Civic is quite simply the most ambitious remake of Civic we’ve ever done,” according to John Mendel, Honda vice president. “We are bringing more new technology and innovative thinking to Civic than ever before to establish a new benchmark for fun-to-drive performance, fuel efficiency, safety performance and refinement in the compact class.” Examine the Honda Civic inventory at Chapman Honda for yourself to see how the 10th generation of this popular vehicle is the best Civic yet.
