Honda Leads Automakers in Creating ‘Best Family Cars’

2017 Honda CR-V, HR-V, Pilot and Odyssey All Earn Honors

Kelley Blue Book, one of the most trusted consumer advocates in the auto industry, has named four Honda models to its “Best Family Cars of 2017” list. KBB evaluated a wide list of competitors by focusing on a number of different categories, including safety, technology, value, reputation and the ability to meet the needs of a modern family. The result proves Honda continues to offer families the best value for fun, dependable transportation. Check out the entire Honda inventory by visiting Chapman Honda.

2017 Honda CR-V Best 2-Row SUV

For smaller families, the popular Honda CR-V continues to be the best value. Now with a fresh makeover for 2017, the CR-V is more attractive than ever with a large adjustable cargo area, a new turbocharged engine option and an infotainment system that allows everyone a chance to play their latest selections from a smartphone, whether you use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Safety is also a prime consideration for the CR-V, with the Honda Sensing Suite of driver assistance features standard on the EX model and above.

2017 Honda HR-V Delivers Good Things in Small Package

The Honda HR-V crossover is the smallest vehicle on KBB’s list, but it’s filled with plenty of good things for family transportation. To start with, it has 60 cubic feet of cargo space when you fold the rear seats down, which is plenty for that monthly Costco trip or to haul those infrequent large purchases. Starting at just a smidge over $20,000, the HR-V is also the least expensive option on the KBB list. With 34 mpg on the highway, it also means you can pass up those gas station fillups a little more frequently.

Refined Pilot Offers Seating for Eight

If you’re struggling to find a vehicle that can fit the whole family, head to Chapman Honda and look over the Honda Pilot inventory. This three-row midsize SUV offers the ability to zip through urban traffic without making a couple of the kids stay home. The third row seat has belts for three people and is plenty big enough for adults if you’re part of the office carpool. The second row offers either captain’s chairs or a bench seat. The sliding and reclining seats offer a variety of options for people and cargo.

2017 Honda Odyssey Impresses With Special Value Editions

As this year’s Honda Odyssey minivan generation makes room for an all-new model for 2018, the company is offering a special value edition that’s packed with features at an attractive price. The Odyssey has consistently been the best-reviewed minivan on the market, offering supreme handling, plenty of power and a configurable interior that works for hauling both people and stuff. The Special Edition offers features such as tri-zone climate control, power driver seat, 12-volt power access throughout and a DVD entertainment system.
