New Odyssey First Minivan to Offer Unlimited Data

Among the many innovations coming with the 2018 Honda Odyssey is the ability to stream unlimited data with an AT&T 4G LTE in-vehicle Wi-Fi plan. Now you can keep your kids and rear seat passengers happy with unlimited movies and TV shows while you listen to podcasts, audio books and your favorite music channels without fearing you’re spending too much for entertainment. Available in the Odyssey Touring and Elite trim packages, the data plans go for as little as $20 a month. The totally redesigned 2018 Honda Odyssey is available for a test drive now at Chapman Honda.

Data Plan Just Part of New Technology

“As any parent can tell you, keeping everyone connected is a big part of modern family happiness,” said Honda Senior VP Jeff Conrad. “With our new CabinWatch and CabinTalk technologies, reconfigurable Magic Slide seats and 4G LTE Wi-Fi, the new Odyssey is all about keeping everyone connected and comfortable.” CabinWatch gives the ability for the driver and front passenger to keep an eye on all the other passengers through the infotainment screen. The driver can communicate with people in the back through the Odyssey’s speaker system utilizing the CabinTalk feature. The Magic Slide seats make it easy for third row access or to configure the minivan for cargo storage.

Rear Entertainment System Keeps Passengers Occupied

When you get on that long stretch of highway between Phoenix and Los Angeles or San Diego, the last thing you want to do is quell a disturbance or answer the dreaded “are we there yet?” question. The Rear Entertainment System of the new Honda Odyssey provides a large 10.2-inch rear monitor that will work with DVD, CD or Blu-ray discs. If everyone has their own phone or tablet, the Wi-Fi system allows for up to seven different connections at the same time.

Five Different Trim Packages Available

The new Honda Odyssey comes in five different trim packages that offer something different for people with varying tastes and budgets. The LX is the most inexpensive model, starting at just a hair under $30,000. It comes with a long list of standard features, including a power driver’s seat, 18-inch alloy wheels and a rearview camera. The EX offers all that and the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance safety features. The EX-L adds leather to the equation along with a power tailgate. The Touring model ups the ante a bit with the CabinWatch technology, Rear Entertainment System and parking sensors. The Elite trim is the top of the line and features heated and ventilated front seats, a premium audio system and wireless phone charger. Inspect the entire Odyssey lineup and choose the one that best fits your needs when you visit Chapman Honda today.
