LED Lighting and Dynamic Styling Provide Fresh Look

As the most popular automobile in America for both 2013 and 2014, the designers at Honda could be forgiven for not wanting to change too much about the Accord. Instead, they provided a mid-model refresh with dynamic styling, an improved chassis and body and new features to give the car a whole new look and feel. Both the coupe and sedan are now on sale at Chapman Honda, offering features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 19-inch wheels and even heated rear seats. Honda Sensing, a suite of sensors and cameras that provide greater assistance for drivers, is also available on the new Honda Accord.

2016 Accord Starting Price Same as 2015

Despite the refreshed look and additional features, the new Honda Accord Sedan LX and Coupe LX-S both have the same price as last year. The Sedan LX with 6-speed transmission is just $22,105, while the Coupe LX-S starts at $23,775. Automatic transmissions are available on both models for well under $1,000 more. “The best is getting better with the launch of the redesigned 2016 Accord,” said Jeff Conrad, Honda vice president. “With more customer-relevant technology, an even more refined and sporty ride and top-class fuel economy and safety ratings, the 2016 redesign keeps Accord at the top of its class.”

Accord Holds Record for “10 Best” List

“Car and Driver” magazine has named the Accord to its “10 Best” list 29 times, the most of any automobile. It’s expected to make the list again this year, with improvements like Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure, which disperses energy to safe zones in the event of a crash. Those who love creature comforts will enjoy the sophisticated styling of the interior with new fabric and colors, including a gloss black trim for the Accord Sedan LX and Sport, as well as the Coupe LX-S. New seat bolsters help wrap around and secure you in the comfortable upholstery. A wood instrument panel adds a touch of class for the EX and above trim levels in the sedan.

New Features Include Remote Engine Start and 10-way Driver Seat

Start up your new Accord from the comfort of your living room on those polar vortex morning and let the heater blow for a few minutes by using the remote engine start. Once you get inside your toasty vehicle, take a moment to adjust the 10-way power driver’s seat to the perfect position for your drive. Explore these and all the new features of the Honda Accord by taking a trip to Chapman Honda.
